At least 20 Muslims martyred from Alawites in shelling

Publication time: 26 December 2012, 20:51

At least 20 people, among them eight children and three women, martyred in shellings by Russian-made Alawite tanks of farmlands in Kahtaniyeh village, west of the city of Raqqa.

Al-Raqqa has seen an escalation of Alawite murders in recent months after the heroic Jabhat Al-Nusrah Mujahideen have launched an assault to oust Akawite gangs from several areas of the province, strategically located on the Turkish border.

But in the village, there were no Jabhat Al-Nusrah Mujahideen or any other Mujahideen group for protecting Muslims from Alawite beasts. The victims were just farmers.
