Two Police Killed in Iriston, Trucks with Alcohol Burned in Ghalghaycho

Two trucks belonging to Baltika Brewery were attacked last night around 12:30 AM in Karabulak. A security official told RIA Novosti that one truck was attacked with small arms fire and afterward, several cans with a flammable liquid were found near the truck. But according to information received by Kavkaz Center, two trucks belonging to an Ingush alcohol dealer Isa Kharsiyev were burned. Kharsiyev has close ties to ethnic Ossetian Taymuraz Baloyev, director general of the Baltika Brewery.

A private home was attacked by a bomb Monday evening in Karabulak. Attackers threw an explosive device into Vladimir Kharebin's yard around 8:20 PM, nobody was hurt, a spokesman for the prosecutor's office told RIA Novosti. A number of deadly attacks against ethnic Russians occurred in Ingushetia during the last years. Mujahideen of the Ingush Front at the time denied responsibility for those attacks.

Two policemen were killed Monday in North Ossetia. A policeman from the so called "mobile squad" was killed in checkpoint attack, twenty minutes later a police inspector was fatally wounded in car attack in Maysky village, a spokesman for the North Ossetian Interior Ministry told Interfax. After accomplishing their mission, the attackers drove towards neighboring Ingushetia.

An ex-prosecutor's house was attacked by a hand grenade early Monday in Nazran. Attacker threw the grenade at the house belonging to Girikhan Khazbiyev, ex-prosecutor of Nazranovsky district, nobody was hurt, a Russian military official told Interfax. Khazbiyev currently is working outside Ingushetia, his house is occupied by his relatives. It was not the first time Khazbiyev's house was targeted. In August 2006 two bombs exploded near the house, killing ex-prosecutor's younger brother. Mujahideen later denied responsibility for those blasts.

Police department building was attacked Monday morning in Nazran, Kavkaz Center learned. The incident was not reported by Russian media.

An elderly mosque employee was killed in Malgobek early Sunday. According to Regnum, 76-year-old Sultan Yalkharoyev was fatally wounded around 5:30 AM by an attacker armed with a 9 mm firearm. The incident occurred at the mosque territory.
