Department of Needless Sciences

One of the writers has a novel called "Department of Needless Things". Speaking about a law school, you can say that this is the Department of Needless Sciences.

We have as many lawyers here as there is garbage. Try to scoop them out with buckets, and your hand will get tired.

They come out of the walls of educational institutions in clumsy ranks of retards with fake diplomas in their hands.

Lawyers are being made in any educational institution, starting from a veterinary school to as far as the Institute of National Economy.

It still remains a mystery why would cows need jurisprudence. This is why our industry and agriculture are so much in desolation, since per one working farmer there is a good dozen of "lawyers" -- parasites with briefcases in their hands.

For five years in a row the mere apologies for lawyers eat their parents' bread and fill up the pockets of their teachers. They give bribes so that they don't have to study. Out of naïve and diligent freshmen they become experienced bribers.

In their fifth year they are out-and-out cynics, who "crack up when the chairman of a room in a lunatic asylum talks about corruption", as one of the writers put it.

Each year law professors get caught red-handed when they receive a bribe, and the inevitability of punishment, which they are so eloquent about during their lectures, evaporates when they see a wad of dollar bills on the desk of an investigator from Economic Crimes Division.

During their third year the students undergo practical training in courts. Here they see a living embodiment of the procedural law represented by an obnoxious judge, who doesn't give a darn about any judicial procedures. He has his own procedure going on: unhurried and unjust. The one in power always has the powerless to blame: moneyless in this case. This is where the lawlessness of female secretaries having an orgy of bureaucracy is flagrant.

This is good practical training. After that not a single student thinks seriously about the procedural law or the court. You can then keep chattering forever about all kinds of dreadful mysteries in the deliberation rooms or about the rights that the sides have, but who cares about somebody else's trouble?

After the practical training at the district police station, where the investigators are chronic alcoholics and criminals in uniforms who frame people, the Spanish inquisition starts seeming to be more just form of criminal prosecution.

When you look at the drunk and obnoxious faces of the investigators, for some reason you get more inclined to believe in the anthropological theory of Cesare Lombroso. And when you look at the patrolmen, you could partially agree with Darwin's theory of evolution in the sense that these Russian cops look more like pithecanthropuses armed with machineguns. This is where the evolutional process has stopped irreversibly.

Nothing good will be taught at a law school. Although, one thing is for sure. After you graduate from a law school, you start to understand that this is the wrong law, the wrong people, and the wrong system. The system needs to be destroyed and the laws changed into the efficient and fair ones. Into the laws of Allah. And it is not the jurisprudence and bribery that needs to be taught, but the Shariah and fear of God. But it is rather better to be learning from direct proofs instead of from proofs by contradiction.
