Several targeted killing took place in Mogadishu on the weekend in a continuing violence that took over the city since the Islamic courts withdrew from the city.

On Saturday a car carrying "government" agents (picture) was ambushed by a mini  van full of gunmen and was struck with an RBG, the first strike missed and the second scored a direct hit causing the car to explode killing all the was inside, civilians came around the car and found several AK47 and took it with them leaving the dead behind.

Also in the coka cola factory area a taxi carrying  police officers was sprayed with bullets killing one of the police officers, residents stole their possessions including their shoes, as the wounded police officers were taken to hospital, they left their dead on the street and civilian left the dead soldier on the side of the road after moving him away from the middle of the road to make way for the flow of traffic.

The puppet trade minister was also targeted after gunmen lobbed a hand grenade into his house injuring his body girds, and for the first time also gunmen targeted a clan elder belonging to sheikh Hassan Dahir Aways the head of Islamic Shoura Council, after the clan elder accepted an invitation from the Ethiopian government and met with him several days ago.

The Islamic movements as well as the nationalists have vowed to kill all those who help  occupying forces in the city as well as the government officials, after top Islamic scholars condemned all those who sided with Ethiopia to be kaffirs.

Meanwhile the so called government security agency virtually closed all the radio stations by preventing the 3 top stations from reporting the real truth in the city, after being summoned by the head of the security, he issued the demands which are stated below.

1- You can not report about the Somali government and Ethiopian military operations in the capital as they are considered top secret.

2- You can not report about the civilian population fleeing the city under any circumstances.

3- The remnants of the Islamic Courts Union are directly responsible for the explosions and violence in the capital Mogadishu.

4- As there is an emergency state in place in Somalia generally, there is no so called freedom of expressions.

5- The government will nominate editors for these three radio stations and they must cooperate with our agents.
