Russian Pirates Seized Georgian Ship in Japanese Waters

Russian state pirates belonging to the gang of so-called "coast guards" have seized off the Japan's coast a Georgian fishing vessel, Dzhin (Efreet), registered in Georgia's Black Sea port of Batumi and owned by a Georgian company.

 

The ship was seized inside the Japanese territorial waters10 miles southwest of Russian-held Japan's Iturup Island in the Japanese Islands' chain. The schooner was taken to a Russian pirates's base at Shikotan Island.
