Publication time: 29 September 2006, 13:40

On September 28,  the Georgian newspaper Alia reportedl that the 5 GRU terrorists could be exchanged for four British alleged "spies" arrested in Russia this spring. According to the newspaper, the U. S. secret services may be involved in the arrest of the five members of the GRU spy and terrorist cell.

An Armenian news agency  contacted the UK and Georgian embassies in the Armenian capital asking for comments.  The Georgian Embassy's employee, who was unwilling to tell his name, stated the Embassy of Georgia does not possess any information on the events taking place in Georgia. The U. K. Embassy refused to comment on the situation either, stating that the Press Center's official will be available later. "Later",  no one answered the call at the Embassy.
