The BBC has revealed how during the Zionist regime's military aggression against Lebanon, the Zionist regime censored the news, while the Lebanese resistance fighters imposed no limitation on the news coverage.
In response to the earlier claim that Hezbullah did not let journalists cover the true story, a web log of the BBC chief editors said journalists had to fill in a form before entering Occupied Palestine, promising to abide by the "Israeli" regime's military censorship laws. The law partly said that Hezbullah's attacks on Zionist positions should not be covered. Neither the "Israeli" commanders' visit to the war fronts. Nor were the BBC correspondents allowed to report Hezbullah rocket barrages that hit the area in which they were present because that could be a hint to the Hezbullah fighters as to how exact they were.
Journalists were not allowed to report the "Israeli" fatalities. BBC correspondent Jim Muir who was in southern Lebanon during the war described how he freely reported the war without facing any pressure on the part of the Lebanese defenders fighters. He said the only problem he faced was that he could not show the places where the rockets were fired from because it could endanger the lives of innocent civilians. Muir added: "We did not show the exact launching positions".
