Karzai puppet policemen were killed

At least five karzai puppet policemen were killed and two wounded in Taliban attack on a security post in the outskirts of Kandahar city on Sunday afternoon, witness said.

 

Taliban attacked a security post in Pata area near Sar Poza Jail, in the outskirts of Kandahar city. The attack left at least five pro-american policemen dead, one of them in hospital.

 

An eyewitness who saw the dead bodies at the scene told Afghan Islamic Press the Taliban attackers entered the area by riding motorcycles and made their escaped good after the attack.

 

The injured were rushed to Mir Wais hospital. The hospital sources said that one injured puppet policeman died in the hospital.

 

Meanwhile, Taliban spokesman, Qari Muhammad Yousaf, phoned Afghan Islamic Press and accepted responsibility of the attack. “According to our reports six puppet policemen were killed in the attack and one injured,” he added.

 

It is for the first time that Taliban fighters attacked a security post in Kandahar city at broad daylight. The local authorities have been avoiding giving any comments in this regard.

Hundreds of residents of Kunduz province lashed out at puppet government for releasing Afghan Christian convert from jail and demanded of the puppet government to bring him back and be trialed in his country.

 

Around 500 people from all walks of life including ulema and elders gathered at Masjid Khayaban in Kunduz city on Sunday. The ulem and elders of the province while addressing the gathering strongly resented the release of apostate Abdur Rahman and also rejected puppet government stance in this regard.

 

They demanded that apostate Abdur Rahman be brought back to Afghanistan and should be trialed in the country under the Shariah laws.

 

Informed sources told Afghan Islamic Press that participants of the gathering wanted to take a protest demonstration in the city but police did not allowed them permission.

 

Abdur Rahman converted to Christianity form Islam 16 years back. He was jailed in Kabul but was released from jail after immense world pressure on karzai puppet government. He went to Italy after he was provided asylum.
